One Night Stand for Student Rights
On February 28, take a stand to address sexual assault and harassment on campus. We are proud to welcome prominent spoken word artist & anti-violence activist Staceyann Chin to perform at MIT. Join SAFER² and other student groups for a late night open house to promote healthy relationships, allyship, and build community. Participants will engage in dialogue and activities including spoken word performances, a collective mural project, and educational booths by allied student organizations and living groups. Come learn about your student rights - Title IX and the Civil Rights Act, Clery Act, and the Campus SaVE Act - and make your MIT a safer space.

Title IX Working Group
We are organizing a survey with the UA on student perceptions and understanding of Title IX. We are also working with Sarah Rankin, the MIT Title IX Investigator, on a working group for students interested in policy and the Campus SaVE Act.
Orientation
We are working with VPR and DSL to revise the video and training given to Pre-Frosh and at MIT Freshman Orientation. The goal is a training that is more inclusive of male-identified survivors racially diverse, queer-friendly, and not victim-blaming.
